Technician
Saint Nordic Custom Autoworks is a specialty 12V electronics shop in Spring Lake Park, MN. We install remote start, IGLA anti-theft, radar detectors, car audio, dash cameras, and custom lighting — and we do it right. We're looking for a technician who takes the craft seriously and wants to grow in a shop that does too.
The Role
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing remote start and alarm systems (Compustar and others)
- Building out car audio systems — amplifiers, subwoofers, speakers
- Installing radar detectors and dash cameras — clean, professional mounts
- Running and terminating 12V wiring and harnesses to a high standard
- Soldering to OEM quality — heat shrink, direct solder, proper technique
- Working with bypass modules, T-harnesses, and integration hardware
- Communicating with customers about their vehicles and expectations
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Remote Start & Alarm
Comfortable with bypass modules, wiring diagrams, and alarm integration. Compustar experience is a plus.
Car Audio
Experience with amplifier installation, signal processors, subwoofer enclosures, and speaker swaps.
Radar & Dash Cam
Clean hardwired installs for radar detectors, dash cameras, and accessory electronics.
12V Wiring
Proper harness routing, clean termination, and understanding of 12V fundamentals. No zip-tie disasters.
Soldering
Confident with heat shrink and direct solder — done right, not just done.
2+ Years Experience
You've put in the reps. You work confidently and efficiently, and you know when something isn't right.
